The P17R is a large handheld torch, ideal for those that value energy-efficient, rechargeable, and long-lasting LED lighting in tough and demanding working conditions. Its cutting-edge specification includes the latest CREE® Power+ LED light chip, the patented LED Lenser® Advanced Focus System™ for spot to flood beam lighting and Smart Light Technology™ - a clever micro-chip controller that enables a selection of three lighting options (Power, Low Power, and Defence Strobe). There is also a revolutionary new high-efficiency Lithium-ion phosphate rechargeable battery - the Safety Ytrion Cell® . Based on technology previously only found in electric cars it provides faster charging, more charging cycles, very low self-discharge, and a wider temperature operating range. Alongside this new battery power cell, useful functions such as battery life display, residual time display, and charging indicator, are clearly illuminated via a 360° ten-stage power indicator dial. The P17R has true staying power and has been specifically calibrated to deliver exceptionally long burn times. Its full 400 lumen output discharge cycle can be delivered for around 10 hours of use, however, on a low power setting (50 lumens) this masterpiece of engineering will keep shining for nearly two full days (42 hours) without recharge. It features the ingenious Floating Charge System PRO™ which provides a wear-free magnetic contact and easy fuss-free charging (no need to remove the battery for charging). The Ytrion battery can be fully charged in only 2.5 hours. It is supplied with a heavy duty belt clip and charging cradle, packed in a robust yet stylish black gift box.
