The
NCRM is a compact device that allows users
to monitor the micro-environment of the
rack, from access control through to UPS
monitoring. Using SNMP, Web and Telnet passthrough,
it integrates non-networked sensing equipment
onto the data network and notifies system
managers if an alarm condition occurs. The
NCRM can monitor up to seven digital inputs,
or alarms, from attached sensing equipment.
It also includes an analogue port for temperature
and humidity monitoring and has digital
output capability. In addition, it has been
programmed to interface with door access
mechanisms and power monitoring equipment.
