The Pathwise™ 7609 has been specially designed for the Network Manager currently in the process of migrating from Token Ring to Ethernet.This bridge is an ideal solution for non-routable SNA and NetBIOS applications such as Remote 3270 or 5250 emulation. The Pathwise™ supports TCP/IP, Novell IPX and other IEEE 802.2 protocols. If you are connecting the 7609 to a Token Ring RJ45 network then a Media Filter (MF0033) will be required.
