The
MasterSwitch™ is a remote power distribution
unit (PDU) that allows users to control
power individually for up to eight connected
devices. The connected devices can be managed
via the web-based interface or with native
SNMP management platforms and telnet and
the switch has a built-in Ethernet interface
for direct connection to LAN. In the event
of power supply problems or simply as a
management practice you can use the MasterSwitch™
to power down connected equipment on an
outlet by outlet basis to conserve battery
backup power. Furthermore you can configure
the sequence in which power is provided
to the connected devices upon startup. Front
panel LEDs provide a quick status check
of powered loads.
