has just become a lot easier. We offer three
different models of light sources: The Model
MLS635 which is a hand held stable visible
light source ideal to visually test fibre
optic cables, splices and connectors on
both Multimode and Singlemode cabling systems.
The Model MLS1000 which is a stable optical
dual LED source that can be used in conjunction
with an optical power meter for optical
loss testing of fibre optic cabling. This
unit was designed to output 850nm or 1300nm
at a level of -20dBm into a 62.5/125 Multimode
fibre. The Model MLS2000 which is a stable
optical dual LASER source that can be used
in conjunction with an optical power meter
for optical loss testing of fibre optic
cabling. This unit was designed to output
1300nm or 1350nm at a level of -6dBm into
a 9/125 Singlemode fibre.
