These low cost Hayes compatible modems offer

on the more expensive ‘brand name’
modems; auto-dial and auto-answer; analogue,

auto switching between data and voice transmissions.
The modems are based on the Rockwell chipset
and as such use the K56Flex standard. The
units can be upgraded to the 56K standard
once ratified by the ITU.
