The
LuciGate firewall is an access control device
that protects your network from violation
by other connected networks. The LuciGate
is modelled on a simple padlock and gate
- without the key, data cannot pass through
the gate. The key takes the form of a smartcard
which holds the filters that determine what
data is allowed to pass through the gate.
The LuciGate will not operate without the
smartcard in place, if physical security
is breached and the key is removed, all
traffic through the LuciGate will stop instantly,
if the LuciGate is bypassed, the Network
Management System will be immediately alerted.
Provided that management operates a Security
System that can control physical access
to the Lucigate and its key, there is absolutely
no way that the LuciGate can be defeated.
Management over the network is a feature
deliberately designed out of the LuciGate
to make it completely impregnable to hackers
and ‘mischief makers’. Call
