Our
IC8448MV interface converter is an ideal
solution for connecting data communications
equipment to 8Mbps leased line private circuits.
A typical application would be in conjunction
with a router; Integrated E2 interfaces
are rare on the market’s leading routers,
however most of them can be equipped with
a HSSI interface. The SP-8 connects to the
8Mbps circuit on one side and to the HSSI
port on the router (via a standard HSSI
cable) on the other. Configuration of the
SP-8 is done via a rear switch bank, whilst
the status of the unit is displayed through
front panel LEDs. The latest version is
also fitted with an X.21 interface making
it even more versatile.
