The
BetterBox® Model HX2048 is a high speed
2Mbps modem designed to connect high speed
LAN equipment such as Bridges or Routers.
Using X.21/V.11 interface to connect to
the user’s equipment simplifies connection
and keeps cabling costs down. Thanks to
its internal or external clock capability,
the Model HX2048, lends itself for applications
where you need to extend a high speed digital
link (tail ending). Five speeds are available
as standard, 2048, 1024, 512, 256 and 128Kbps,
but the unit can be customised to other
speeds. (Call our technical support line
for information on customised units.) Depending
on the line quality and the speed required,
achievable distances can be up to 2.5Km.
The HX2048 is very simple to install and
thanks to its loopback facility, line problems
can be easily identified.
