The
BetterBox® Model HSM64E is a high speed
128Kbps modem designed to connect high speed
Lan equipment such as Bridges or Routers.
Using an X.21/V.11 interface to connect
to your equipment simplifies the connection
and keeps your cabling costs down. Six standard
synchronous speeds are supported; 128, 64,
56, 48, 32 and 16Kbps, but the unit can
be customised to other speeds.(Call our
technical support line for information on
customised units.) Depending on the line
quality and the speed required, achievable
distances can be up to 7Km at 64Kbps and
4.5Km at 128Kbps. The HSM64E is very simple
to install and thanks to its loopback facility,
line problems can be easily identified.
