The
3004 series fibre optic line termination
unit provides a highly reliable and cost
effective communications link over Multimode
or Singlemode fibre.The modems are designed
to transmit 4 independent channels of 2.048Mbps
G.703 or 4 independent Nx64Kbps X.21 circuits.
The unit can also be used as an E2 to fibre
converter if required. The Nx64Kbps variant
of this unit will operate from an internal
or external clock and each port can be configured
as either DTE or DCE. 75 Ohm BNC & 120
Ohm RJ45 connections are available on the
E1 unit with the Nx64Kbps unit being fitted
with DB15 Female connectors.
All the 3004 are 1U in height and can be
either rackmounted or free standing. The
nature and versatility of the 3004 series
makes it ideal for a wide range of applications
such as PABX to PABX interconnection.
