The VOIP 10/100
Switch from BetterBox® breaks new ground by offering unrivalled
features and specifications in an affordable compact box.
If you are running or plan to implement Voice traffic over
your LAN infrastructure then the BBX9000 series switches can
help to ensure that your voice packets are prioritised over
your data packets reducing both delays and those awkward gaps
in speech. Packets flagged as voice packets will be delayed
by less than 1ms as they pass through the switch. The switch
is fitted with eight 10/100 autosensing ports suitable for
either UTP or STP cabling. Each port is able to run in either
half-duplex or full duplex mode. A ninth Multimode SC fibre
port is also included to allow for connection to a fibre backbone.
