This Electronic Switch provides system administrators with
the ability to remotely connect, re-distribute and monitor
fibre optic cable connections in Fast Ethernet LAN environments.
The Switch is a scalable solution that provides 8, 16 or 32
Fast Ethernet fibre optic I/O ports for connecting devices
in growing networks. The AutoSwitch 2000 software provides
the ability to automatically schedule, monitor, switch and
re-configure devices connected to the switch. This software
enhances switch capability to enable unattended operation
and control of Fibre Optic ports. AutoSwitch 2000 can increase
network security by monitoring connection activity and notifying
of unauthorised configurations. Fibre optic network reliability
can be increased by automatically detecting cable failures
and reconfiguring the port to secondary cables.
