Our newest Video and Data fibre drivers are designed with the security sector in mind. By allowing the transmission of video and data signals down a fibre run you can control an attached device. In the security sector for example you could control pan, tilt and zoom on CCTV cameras. These units are also designed to use a single fibre cable for the simultaneous transmission and reception of data. This is achieved using advanced technology know as Wave Division Multiplexing. Suited for security applications in airports, tunnels, refineries etc. the units have a maximum transmission distance of 20Km dependent upon model.
